The blanks are made from logs that have been boiled in water and then peeled, followed by careful drying. Some of the logs have undergone varying boiling durations, which affects both tone and texture. In addition, we offer double-edged blanks – all carefully selected and pre-processed for further crafting.

Among other things, these blanks have been used to craft knife handle blanks, clearly displaying the distinctive curly birch pattern. Some of the photos were taken immediately after the surface was lightly moistened to emphasize this natural structure – a similar effect appears during the final finishing process, when treated with suitable oils or waxes.
